We are looking for a Software Engineer III to maintain and build upon the existing solutions innovate forward-thinking applications for our product. You will be responsible for defining user experience workflows based on product vision and building responsive, device agnostic web components to support our custom applications. As a Tier III Software Engineer, you will be responsible for sizable features and/or smaller projects and be expected to start participating in system design discussions.
What You'll Do - Work closely with other Mortgage365 engineers, product team, and customers to ensure deep understanding of their needs to create applications and interfaces that anticipate and solve complex problems faced by users of the platform
- Design and execute on large features or smaller-sized projects, from vision through completion.
- Capture requirements, define user experience workflows, and implement design wireframes, and identify required data elements and API interactions to support front-end requirements
- Expertly architect, design and build back-end web applications and components to support new and existing product initiatives
- Craft aesthetically and functionally compelling user experiences based on collaborative and individual efforts to optimize useful outcomes of the platform
- Manage and prioritize daily work according to sprint backlog with significant ability to self-organize
- Assist junior software developers where needed to overcome technical and development hurdles
- Develop articulate accurate and comprehensive project documentation including code and solution specifications
Your Background - 4-5 years full-time Software Engineering work experience, including at least 3-years total technical software engineering experience
- 4-5 years' experience web and API architecture, including XML, JSON, Angular, C , .NET, MVC, WebAPI, EntityFramework and modern real-time application-based services design
- Significant experience using SOLID or similar software design patterns
- Initial architectural decision-making capabilities
- Experience adding new features and resolving bugs in large, heavily used API projects
- Experience adding new features and resolving bugs in large, heavily used API projectsUnderstanding of device agnostic, responsive development, and design
- Significant experience managing code sets within Visual Studio or similar IDE, and Source a Control Systems such as Azure DevOps along with use of Git
- Significant experience consuming diverse APIs for multiple system integration patterns
- Working knowledge of enterprise integration and third-party enterprise integration tools
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform, the entity model, security model, and Web services
- Experience successfully communicating technical ideas to a variety of stakeholders
Compensation & Benefits The target annual salary for this role performed in the US is $130,000-$140,000. The exact compensation will be determined by the skill and experience of qualified candidates, and can change at anytime based on local hiring market conditions.
