JOB DUTIES: Design, develop and support new software applications for ModivCare. Work with business owners and IT support staff to create and implement the software product. Document design in functional and design specifications to ensure the product handles the users' needs. Code software components to complete the project. Develop new software including programming languages and reporting tools. Effectively unit test their work and then partner with the Quality Assurance group to test and fix bugs in the software. Work with the IT Network group and end users to install the software and follow up with end users to ensure the application is working properly. Develop and maintain business applications in client-server or web-based environments. Conduct design and requirement meetings with peer engineers and business stakeholders. Write functional and design documentation as needed. Work with senior development staff to develop overall design of new systems, modules and data layouts. Implement a coding strategy and design that meets the goals and timeline set forth in the requirements planning session. Work with the quality assurance staff to resolve issues found in testing. Provide assistance in the creation and development of user documentation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related and 1 year of experience as a Software Engineer or related.
Experience with Python programming skills; Knowledge of Django; Knowledge of RDBMS such as MySQL, DB2 or similar; Knowledge of AWS managed services or an equivalent cloud provider; Experience with version control system such as GitLab or a similar system.
JOB SITE: Position based in Denver, CO. Hybrid position requiring work in the office with the ability to telecommute on days when not in the office.; 40 hours/week.
SALARY: $94,578.00/year to $118,100.00/year
