Kavaliro is seeking a Software Engineer I to support a client in Maryland.
Job Description: This is a DevOps position - Hybrid (two days remote) Required skills:
- Experience with Linux CLI, Experience with building out Kubernetes infrastructure including configuring network policies within a cluster,
- Experience with system sustainment and compliance including system patching and SSP management,
- Experience with corporate STE/STN security compliance policies and procedures Experience using the Atlassian tool suite (Confluence, Jira, etc.)
Desired skills: - Understanding of or experience with tools such as Terraform, Salt, and Ansible,
- Understanding of or experience with tools such as Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm,
- Understanding of or experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana dashboards,
- Understanding of or experience with Grafana dashboards, Security+ certification (CWIP) would be great but is not required
Required Skills: - Seven plus (7+) years experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four plus (4+) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Clearance Requirement: - Candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
