Job Summary: The Software Engineer will participate in functional and technical tasks to support configuration, development, and maintenance of enterprise applications. In this role, you will be expected to work with our business stakeholders, architects, and other teams to analyze and understand business/data requirements and process flows and develop solutions to meet those requirements. The ideal candidate is highly motivated with a great passion in development, capable troubleshooting skills, and is quick at analysis and resolving issues.
Essential Job Functions: - Participate/support in the analysis, requirements, design, configuration and technical implementation of different insurance applications
- Participate in the identification and documentation of business, functional, and technical problems
- Participate in the design of solutions to meet business needs
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of SDLC artifacts related to implementation
- Research, evaluate and provide input to potential solutions taking into consideration project constraints, organizational architecture standards, customer business processes and emerging technologies, where applicable
- Participate in the development of work tasks, estimates, schedules, materials and plans to meet business needs
- Support on-going production support for implemented projects
- Support production tickets in terms of severity
- Assist with the reporting of project status to project management
- Analyze and troubleshoot production issues and determine the root cause of problems
- Keep pace with newer technologies and look for ways to add value incrementally
- Identify and perform processes to produce high quality and reliable solutions
- Identify areas of improvement and follow/implement processes to improve overall efficiency
- Comply with the maintenance and enforcement of SDLC processes, departmental standards, style requirements and all other procedures necessary for data and system integrity
- Comply with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and/or carry out responsibilities and/or administrative activities at the Company
- Establish and build strong working relations and partnerships with Business Units and Senior Management Perform special projects and other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science, MIS, or Software Engineering) required
- 0-02 years' software development and maintenance experience (Java or .NET)
- Experience working with Azure DevOps, source code repositories such Azure DevOps Server (TFS) or GIT, build & deployment process is a plus
- Experience with web services using SOAP/REST, integrating with Azure APIM services
- Experience with TMNAS processes and systems strongly preferred
- Experience working with SQL using SQL Server/Oracle databases
- Experience working in Insurance industry P&C sector is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access)
- Knowledge of Portal design concepts such as integration, security, collaboration, SSO
- Knowledge of packaged applications such as OnBase, ImageRight, DocuSign or any Insurance suite is a plus
- Knowledge of TMNAS processes and systems strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Service Now for ticketing is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adopt new technologies and tools.

Salary range $52,000 to $70,000. Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location. Our company offers a competitive benefits package and bonus eligibility on top of base.
