Description: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is currently seeking an experienced Software Engineer who will be responsible for embedded software development at our Grand Prairie, Texas site.

What You Will Be Doing

Are you a highly skilled Real-Time, Embedded Software Engineer experienced in developing software for embedded systems?

You will support the development embedded software for real-time tactical applications, visualization, and unit-under-test hardware interfaces by performing the overall integration of hardware/software with missile hardware in real time operations. This role includes performing analysis of requirements, developing architecture and design, implementation, and integration with a goal of supporting flight testing of the Missile subsystem.

Basic Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or related field

• Active Secret Clearance with most recent investigation in the last 5 years.

• Experience in software engineering and software development specifically with embedded systems

• Ability to interpret program needs, formulate solutions, and communicate to leadership effectively.

• Knowledge and Experience with Embedded Linux

• C

• Experience deploying, debugging, and Integrating Embedded Software on Hardware

Desired Skills:

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or related field

• Experience as a software engineer working with multi-disciplined teams.

• Experience designing ground system embedded software.

• Experience with GitLab (CI/CD)

• Software integration and verification experience

• Modern C

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
