Software Engineer 3 to drive the development and enhancement of complex software systems. In this role, you will work on the design, development, and containerization of applications that push the boundaries of
national security technology. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with a talented
Agile software team, helping to decompose systems, create automated tests, and define

A Day In The Life - Collaborate & Implement: Work collaboratively with a software team in an Agile cadence to design, implement, and test software systems.
- System Decomposition: Break down complex systems into applications or components, including defining data flows, interface requirements, and service level agreements.
- Automated Testing: Develop automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of containerized applications.
- Containerization: Define and implement containerization approaches using Docker, Kubernetes, and other microservice development tools.
- Document & Optimize: Document designs, best practices, and ensure systems are optimized for maintainability and rapid bug resolution.
What You Bring To The Table - 10+ years of experience in software development using Python, Java, C , or a similar language (4 years may be substituted by a Bachelor's Degree in an adjacent field, 6 years for a Master's).
- Experience with microservice development containers such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with teams, contributing to designs and implementations.
- Expertise in developing automated tests for containerized applications, ensuring reliability and maintainability.
Preferred Skills - Experience deploying in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, CShell, etc.).
- Agile knowledge and practice, particularly with SAFe or Scrum Alliance methodologies and Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
- UI experience and data presentation/visualization techniques.
Salary Range$125,000 - $165,000 annually. At DeNOVO Solutions, we value experience and expertise. Compensation may exceed the listed range to align with the skills and experience of the candidate.
