Software Engineer 2
What you will be doing?
In this role, the Software Engineer will be responsible to support numerous challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the nation's security and intelligence mission. This person will develop, maintain and innovate complex software systems such as (e.g., processing intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulating large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems).

Reviewing requirements, testing and documenting results, contributing to the system design and defining solutions are all responsibilities within this role.

Specific Skills Needed to perform well in this role
  • Fourteen (14) years' experience developing sophisticated programs
  • Knowledge of Software System Requirements Analysis, Design, Development, Integration, and/or Testing
  • Familiarity with building secure clouds
  • Ability to create and deploy advanced analytic sensors and ingest data
  • BS degree in computer science or related field
  • Must work effectively independently and with others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Punctuality - must show up and perform

  • Years Experience / Degree:
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited college or university plus fourteen (14) years of software/system development work experience, OR
Labor Category requirements may vary with the level of experience and education. The salary range listed below is inclusive of all levels associated with this labor category.
