We are presently seeking a
Software Development and Test Engineer that will make vital contributions to new technology and product development for our growing range of cutting-edge optical engine products.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ownership of complex custom test stations with primary responsibility for test station software;
- Develop, automate, and code custom test software for R&D and manufacturing;
- Support existing test software to maintain manufacturing uptime targets;
- Work closely with interdisciplinary design team to develop and execute verification testing procedures for new products and product re-verification;
- Participate in the product development process, including gate reviews, training, documentation, and transfer to manufacturing.
Requirements
- BS or Master-Level in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related field;
- 5+ years Test Engineering experience;
- In depth knowledge of programming languages including VB6, VB.net, C/C , and C ;
- Experience with modern software design and verification processes (ex. JIRA, Git);
Desirable Experience & Skills:
- Experience with LabView highly desired;
- Proficiency in MATLAB to support experimentation and data analysis;
- Hands-on lab skills with optical equipment such as optical spectrum analyzers (OSAs), oscilloscopes, power meters, fiber optics, and data acquisition a plus;
- Strong communication with Microsoft Office Suite.
