full-time opportunity that is
onsite in
Simpsonville, KY.
What You'll Do - Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to ADMS
- Propose enhancements to optimize ADMS performance and adapt to evolving grid needs
- Emergency Response: be available for rotating on call support of emergences or response to storms / other events that impact service to our customers
- Provide consultation for business, system, and user needs
- Handle moderate-to-complex end-user system and operations issues that arise
What You'll Need Required:
- Familiarity with Windows server environment (starting/stopping services, navigating folder structure, etc.)
- Understanding of basic scripting (simple, bat, ps1, etc.)
- Basic understanding of networking interactions
- Familiarity with job scheduling tools
- Comfortable interacting with the business and the GE vendor
- Troubleshooting mindset (ability to ask questions, reporting problems, and comfortable digging into issues that they've never encountered before)
Physical Demands - Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
