We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team and work on claims adjudication projects for our large pharma customers. Your expertise will ensure that pharmacies submitting claims for prescription drugs experience a seamless journey as they provide access to vital treatments for patients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the U.S. healthcare system, a strong background in software engineering, and familiarity with the NCPDP D0 standard. You will develop and enhance claims adjudication systems, ensuring compliance with NCPDP standards for accurate and efficient data exchange between prescribers, pharmacies, and payers, all while maintaining the security and privacy of sensitive patient data.
Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for COOH.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Skills: - Strong proficiency in C .
- C experience with .NET Framework, .NET 6+, WinForms, web services, and APIs.
- Strong proficiency with MS-SQL.
- Familiarity with Jira and Git.
- Proven experience working in a high-volume, 24x7 transactional processing environment.
- NCPDP D0 / pharmacy claims processing experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the healthcare industry.
- Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
