Software Developer with Security Clearance

Software Developer - VG MOON Country Intelligence Group is seeking a Full-Time Software Developer to support our client in the Herndon, Virginia area. The selected candidate will provide development and programming support within an enterprise ServiceNow platform, including the design and customization of workflows to enhance efficiency and user experience. Responsibilities include collaborating with development teams, implementing automated testing, and ensuring stability through regression testing. The ideal candidate will have experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and either direct ServiceNow development or similar low-code platforms. Tasks Performed:
• Develop and maintain applications on the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements.
• Design and customize ServiceNow workflows, forms, and interfaces to improve efficiency and user experience.
• Create and manage catalog items and automated workflows using Flow Designer.
• Collaborate with other development teams to ensure integration and consistency across systems.
• Conduct automated testing for new features and perform regression testing to ensure stability.
• Analyze and document business processes, translating them into functional technical requirements.
• Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements to align with business goals.
• Identify and implement process improvements based on functional requirements and system capabilities.
• Support IT lifecycle management, including participation in review boards and change/release management.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation such as release notes, user guides, and system artifacts.
• Manage project tasks, timelines, and customer communications to ensure successful delivery. Education, Experience and Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience using web development technologies, specifically JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Demonstrated experience developing ServiceNow OR advanced experience with software development OR experience with low-code development platforms and the aptitude to develop ServiceNow experience.
• Demonstrated experience creating catalog items, using Flow Designer, and an understanding of business rules.
• Demonstrated experience in business process analysis, including evaluating customer need, internal processes, document business process models, and translating these models as functional technical requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in systems evaluation, such as identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve/correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.
• Demonstrated experience with process improvement, such as analyzing functions, requirements, or existing capabilities and shortfalls.
• Demonstrated experience with program management and project task management, and customer relations and outreach.
• Demonstrated experience with IT and systems lifecycle management, including managing review boards, and change and release management.
• Demonstrated experience with knowledge management, including developing feature release descriptions, and technical artifacts related to development under this request.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, or completion of requisite ServiceNow training for the certification. (Preferred)
• Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF). (Preferred)
• Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow application suites (e.g., IT Service Management, IT Business Management), developing Dashboards on ServiceNow, and using ServiceNow Performance Analytics. (Preferred)
• Demonstrated experience using ServiceNow project management applications. (Preferred)
• Demonstrated experience working with Sponsor's IT service providers. (Preferred)
• Demonstrated experience advising Sponsor personnel on processes, practices, and policies that directly impact the organization. (Preferred)
• Demonstrated experience with cloud architecture, including expertise beyond the Sponsor's legacy cloud environments. (Preferred) Other Job Requirements:
• Active Top Secret/SCI w/Full Scope Polygraph.
