Software Developer

Job Description

As a software developer, this person will be responsible for supporting the minimization of customer backlog. They will spend most of their time implementing upgrades or performing maintenance on existing software. This will require root cause analysis work- digging into customer logs and following the trail down to code. They will then be required to fix the code and run tests to confirm that the update successfully fixed the issue. Most of the code will be C . Once backlog is minimized, they will move into project work supporting customers with upgrades to their material handling equipment (i.e. Cranes, shuttles, pickers, sorters).

Compensation:

$58/hr to $63/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors Degree in software or computer engineering (strongly preferred)

Minimum 3 years of software development experience

Experience coding in C and Java

Able to write code from scratch (with a provided framework)

Experience working with industrial machinery Direct Automated Material Handling Experience null
