Overview/ Job Responsibilities Sev1Tech is seeking a Software Developer - Entry Level to support our customer in developing innovative capabilities and providing technical services in support of Mission Command and C2 Maneuver systems. In this role, you will deliver primary technical support for various radar systems, including the AN/TPQ-53 Radar System.
Primary Responsibilities: - Must be able to perform routine duties in an industrial security office to obtain security clearance on employees, control employee identification cards and records, maintain lock and key records, and arrange visit authorizations for employees and others to gain access to restricted areas.
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software for a variety of engineering applications.
- Work with analysts to understand their analytic or interface requirements.
- Assist in developing tools and interfaces.
- Assist in design, development, and testing of operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software applications.
- Assist in setting operational specifications and formulate and analyzing software requirements.
- Assist in design embedded systems software.
- Analyze user needs; develop and design software solutions.
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software for a variety of engineering applications.

Minimum Qualifications- Must possess an active U.S. DoD Secret clearance
- Must be available to work on-site, five (5) days a week
- Willingness to travel up to 10% CONUS to support operational requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field
- Must meet DoDD 8140.01 (Cyber Workforce Management) basic cyberspace workforce foundational qualification (DCWF) requirements
Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
- Linux Development
- Software Languages: Java, Ada, or C
Desired Qualifications- In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with the complete software development life cycle (SDLC) as applied to military systems, from concept and design through deployment, sustainment, and decommissioning.
- Knowledge of certificate management and encryption methodologies essential for secure software operations in defense environments.
- Familiarity with CECOM Software Engineering Center Post-Production Software Sustainment (PPSS) processes is highly desirable.
- Experience working within AGILE development frameworks, with a strong preference for candidates proficient in using Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo to manage sprints, tasks, documentation, and version control.
