PLEASE READ REQUIREMENTS THOROUGHLY DESCRIPTION OF POSITION/DUTIES: All Points is seeking a software developer to join our team on the Orion Program Cockpit team responsible for development of display formats, flight utility networks, and camera/video systems. Duties may include, but are not limited to : Work full software lifecycle impacts for updating Orion flight software to properly interface with SLS Block 1B upgrade, Co-Manifested Payloads (CPLs), and Gateway; including software systems engineering support, requirements, software design, implementation (code & unit test), CI/CD support, integration and verification testing, and validation Contribute on a highly motivated, collaborative, and dedicated flight software (FSW) team who specifically support the Artemis III and Artemis IV missions Incorporate lessons learned from prior Orion missions to adopt new efficiencies that can be leveraged for Artemis III and Artemis IV FSW development & processes EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in computer science, aerospace, or related equivalent engineering degree YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 2 - 10 Years SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS: Demonstrated software development experience Experience with python scripting and C development Ability to work in a dynamic team environment, and bolster team culture based on your active team participation Effective and proactive interpersonal communication skills with peers and with program leadership Ability to apply Systems Thinking strategies to software development Ability to embrace a growth mindset Experience with IDEs/code editors Experience with CI/CD tools like Gitlab and Perforce/Swarm Familiarity with Agile and DevOps processes and culture (inclusive of Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence) Track record of taking software from concept to delivery product Experience with automated software tests and continuous integration systems Experience with remote virtual machines or containerized build environments Familiarity with embedded avionics networking (OSI model, transport/data link layers, Ethernet, IP, UDP/TCP/STCP, CCSDS) Familiarity with video encoding standards (H.264) Previous Orion and/or Orion software development experience Previous Flight Software or Simulation Software Experience Previous experience with real-time operating systems SECURITY CLEARANCE: United States Citizenship is required Public Trust/NACI/Badging Salary range: Approximately $110,000-130,000 annually, depending on experience, education, labor cateogry, market, and budget.
