Job Description:
The Software Engineer will work closely with the Business Analyst and Product Owner to understand business and technical requirements. Candidate will turn these requirements into state-of-the-art web applications that will drive the growth of PDP's businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand PDP Architecture standards
- Analyze the needs of the user
- Design, test and develop the software to meet those needs
- Recommend upgrades for existing systems and programs
- Develop separate elements of a software that work well in the program as a whole
- Create various diagrams, flowcharts and models that illustrate the type of code needed for programmers
- Document each aspect of a system or application as a reference for future upgrades and maintenance
- Revisit the development process to fix bugs or address client or consumer concerns
Required Skills
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Engineer with a passion for test driven development
- Passionate about learning new technologies
- 1+ years' Microsoft .NET overall programming experience or relative coursework in similar technologies including Java
- 1+ years' experience in Entity framework or any other ORM or relative coursework in similar technologies including Java
- 1+ Years' Experience developing ASP.NET websites using MVC or relative coursework in similar technologies including Java
- Strong knowledge of OOD, design patterns, software architecture, systems integration concepts and frameworks.
- Experience with C , Java or similar programming languages
- Debugging and troubleshooting skills
