Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
A Software Development Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, installing, and maintaining systems, applications, networks, and related processes to meet the functional objectives of the business. Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing system, application, and network needs.
- Providing modeling and simulation consulting to clarify client technology functionality.
- Evaluating and implementing new advanced technologies.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Java 17 or greater and Spring Boot.
- Experience with RESTful services and OpenShift.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Jira, and SharePoint.
- Understanding of software security tools like Fortify and Sonatype.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) for development.
