Payrate: $45.00 - $49.00/hr.
Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated Manufacturing Test Development Engineer with a proven track record of implementing best in class test techniques and processes within a complex manufacturing environment. This role will report to the Manager of NPI Test Development and is a member of the Robotics Manufacturing Technical Operations team. This individual will primarily focus on manufacturing test development & support for PCBA sub-assemblies ICT and functional EOL (End-of-line) testers. You will work closely with engineering, production, test engineers, and external vendors to deliver and work with the highest quality products with the lowest cost.
Key Responsibilities: - Actively foster and drive culture of inclusion.
- Develop or implement manufacturing test strategies and solutions for robotic manipulation applications.
- Document test procedures, test specifications, and acceptance criteria for new and current products.
- Guide and implement the design of automated test solutions, including electrical interfaces, interface test adapters, and software
- Propose design changes that will enhance product manufacturability and testability.
- Write programs to control test equipment and devices under test using standard software tools.
- Evaluate and approve product electrical Engineering Changes Orders (ECOs).
- Support EOL test stations at local contract manufacturers and system integrators.
- Persistently promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
- Up to 30% travel required.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor degree in electrical/computer engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of related work experience in a fast-paced manufacturing/test engineering focused environment.
- Functional knowledge of one or more high level programming languages.
- Experience with programmable equipment and device under test control using standard software tools.
- Experience in designing or specifying electrical test interfaces for functionally testing electrical sub-assemblies.
- Experience with reading and debugging with electrical schematics.
Preferred Qualifications: - Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to define requirements and capability to deliver test solutions.
- Experience testing and calibrating cameras.
- Experience with in-circuit-test (ICT) development with external vendors.
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with remote computer operations, such as via OpenSSH.
- Experience developing & maintaining Automated Test Systems using LabVIEW/TestStand, Python, Linux shell scripts or equivalent tools.
- Experience with bench-top electrical debug tools as well as electrical design of test circuitry.
- Experience with spectrum and network analyzers.
- Experience with networking and wireless computer systems.
Compensation: The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
