Job Description: The Traffic Management team owns the critical software layer that accepts, filters, and routes all web traffic from the public Internet to it's many websites. This software routes and manages traffic, detects and blocks robot and security threats, and enables businesses to quickly and safely launch new websites and new countries.
Our team is starting new projects in Bot Detection space to innovate and take to the next level in security. The ideal candidate is a champion of engineering excellence and improves quality, consistency, maintainability, performance, and security with every code commit. In addition, he/she contributes elegant, practical code that solves the most difficult problems at scale.

Your work will be highly visible and is instrumental in helping serve record breaking amounts everyday including flagship events such as Prime Day. Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $ 86.00- $ 92.00/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
