Job Description:
The Client Traffic Management team owns the critical software layer that accepts, filters, and routes all web traffic from the public Internet to it's many websites.
This software routes and manages traffic, detects and blocks robot and security threats, and enables clients' businesses to quickly and safely launch new websites and new countries.
Our team is starting new projects in the Bot Detection space to innovate and take our Client to the next level in security. If you love building high-performance software that's focused on best-in-class architecture, data processing, and security, we have the job for you.

The ideal candidate is a champion of engineering excellence who improves quality, consistency, maintainability, performance, and security with every code commit.
In addition, he/she contributes elegant, practical code that solves the most difficult problems at Client scale.

About the team
Our team is embarking on a journey to develop the next generation of website traffic management software that protects customers' experience. Your work will be highly visible and is instrumental in helping the Client serve record-breaking amounts every day, including flagship events such as Prime Day. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
