Job Description:

  • AWS Financial Technology Team is looking for a results-oriented, innovative software development engineer, who can help us create the next generation of distributed, scalable financial systems.
  • Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, relishes working with big data, and enjoys problem solving within highly complex business contexts that are typically being defined in real-time.
  • We need someone to design and develop services that facilitate global financial decisions worth billions (USD) annually.
Candidate Requirements:

Basic qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C , or C including object-oriented design and Internship software development experience.
Preferred qualifications:
  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
  • Experience in optimization mathematics such as linear programming and nonlinear optimization.
  • Effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
  • Adept at handling ambiguous or undefined problems as well as ability to think abstractly.
Degrees:
  • Bachelors Computer Science
Preferred:
  • Similar Capacity within Client former employee is preferred
Top must-have hard skills:
  • 3+ years of experience
