Are you ready to take on a critical role driving strategic sourcing initiatives for high-impact software solutions? We're looking for an experienced Commodity Manager to lead negotiations and sourcing strategies, focusing on long-term partnerships with some of the biggest names in software.

Why This Role Matters: This role is essential in managing one of our clients software agreements with a focus on optimizing commercial terms, price controls, service levels, and more. You'll work closely with our legal and sourcing teams to ensure we're securing the best value for our client while maintaining strong relationships with global suppliers.
What You'll Do:
  • Negotiate & Strategize: Lead high-stakes negotiations with top software vendors, covering every commercial aspect, from pricing to cancellation terms.
  • Implement & Monitor: Develop and drive sourcing strategies that align with the clients goals, working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and quality teams to ensure alignment and compliance.
  • Lead Supplier Management: Monitor supplier performance on security, quality, and delivery, conducting regular strategic reviews to elevate our partnerships and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Innovate for Efficiency: Champion Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reductions, identifying and executing productivity improvements across the supply chain to add value for our business units.
  • Measure Success: Track and report on sourcing KPIs to senior management, covering metrics like savings, quality, and delivery performance to keep the client ahead of the curve.
What We're Looking For:
  • Negotiation Powerhouse: Proven experience negotiating medium-to-large software agreements, ideally with vendors like Microsoft, SAP, or Oracle, including deals over $1M.
  • Strategic Mindset: At least five years in indirect or strategic sourcing with hands-on experience developing sourcing strategies for software or technology commodities.
  • Analytical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Excel and an understanding of data management to analyze trends and drive informed decisions.
Education: Bachelor's in Business Administration, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
