Akkodis is seeking a
Software Cloud Engineer for a
contract job with a client in
Dearborn, MI . Responsibilities include serving as a technical lead, assisting multiple teams with converting business goals into product requirements, and designing cloud solutions using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift.
Rate Range: $70/hour to $75/ hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Software Cloud Engineer job responsibilities include: - Serving as a technical lead, providing direction and support to a team of Software Engineers.
- Assisting business customers, product owners, and IT teams in converting business goals into product requirements and developing solutions.
- Designing and developing cloud solutions using GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and cloud computing technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift.
- Installing, configuring, monitoring, and tuning infrastructure tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Writing and maintaining software in Python and/or R, with a focus on cloud-based applications.
- Coordinating activities across multiple diverse teams and ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting technical issues across systems and software.
Desired Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years of cloud solution design experience.
- Strong proficiency in GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and cloud computing technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Python and/or R software development, with Anaconda experience preferred.
