Software Architect Country Intelligence Group is seeking a Software Architect to support our client in the design, development, and enhancement of software solutions within a secure environment. This role requires expertise in system integration across multiple platforms and managing project completion from concept to delivery. The Software Architect will perform feasibility analyses for future initiatives, ensure compatibility across platforms, and support DevSecOps practices. Candidates must possess experience with DLA systems, continuous integration and delivery tools such as Jenkins, and configuration management using GitHub. This position requires a (Formerly IT-II) Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance with a Tier 3 (T3) investigation at the time of proposal submission. Tasks Performed:
• Design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing systems.
• Ensure software compatibility and integration across various platforms and environments.
• Conduct feasibility analyses for proposed projects to support management decision-making.
• Manage the end-to-end completion of software development projects.
• Evaluate and resolve complex system integration challenges.
• Apply DevSecOps methodologies to enhance software delivery processes, particularly within the DLA Enterprise.
• Implement and manage continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins.
• Utilize GitHub for version control and configuration change management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software architecture meets security and performance standards.
• Maintain compliance with DoD security requirements and hold active IAT Level II or 8140.03 equivalent certifications, if applicable. Education, Experience and Qualifications:
• 5 years of position relevant experience.
• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
• IAT Level II or 8140.03 equivalent certification(s). (Preferred)
• 5+ years supporting DLA. (Preferred)
• Experience using DLA Enterprise DevSecOps for IaaS. (Preferred)
• Experience using Jenkins for CI-CD. (Preferred)
• Experience using GitHub for configuration change management. (Preferred) Other Job Requirements:
• Minimum active Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance and Tier 3 investigation (T3).
• U.S. Citizenship, and successful background check.
