Software Architect with Security Clearance

Job Title: Software Architect Responsibilities of the Software Architect: EDC Consulting LLC (EDC) is seeking a full-time Software Architect for the DLA AAA Dashboard project. The Software Architect will design, develop, and oversee the implementation of scalable, secure, and innovative analytics solutions for DLA's enterprise environment. The Software Architect will: Lead the architecture, design, and development of new software and major enhancements. Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with DLA and DoD standards. Integrate DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins), and configuration management (e.g., GitHub). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and solution strategies. Evaluate and recommend technology platforms, frameworks, and tools. Oversee code reviews, technical documentation, and system integration. Implement cloud-native and IaaS architectures in federal environments. Support troubleshooting, optimization, and performance tuning. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data protection requirements. Mentor development teams and promote best practices in software engineering. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years of software architecture experience in federal or DLA environments. Active IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive (Tier 3/Secret) clearance or higher. IAT Level II/DoD 8140.03 certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CASP+, or CISSP) required. Hands-on experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD (Jenkins), and GitHub. Experience with cloud-native architectures and federal IT modernization. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
