Work Schedule - HYBRID (2 days onsite at Ft. Belvoir and 3 days of telework/week)
Seeking a Software Architect to support our government customer at Ft. Belvoir, VA. We are seeking a highly motivated and professional to support the Army. At this time, the position will be located on-site two days a week and telework three days a week.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design and development of comprehensive software solutions.
• Provides consultation on complex projects due to expertise and is a key contributor.
• Works with Project Manager(s) in the collection and documentation of client business objectives and requirements and develops an in-depth understanding of the client's business, technology, and strategic direction.
• Designs architecture to support project requirements and interfaces.
• Ensures systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open systems architectures.
• Analytically and systematically evaluates problems of workflows and programs to develop appropriate corrective action.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related field
• At least Six years of relevant experience in design and development of comprehensive software solutions in DoD - prefer Army environment
• Experience creating and publishing DoDAF Architectural Artifacts
• Experience creating software-level requirements and architectural designs
• Experience working in Agile at scale in environments
• Ability to apply standards, principles, theories, and technical concepts obtained through advanced education combined with experience
• Experience working with software development and modernization efforts, including forward-leaning technology such as cloud, automation platforms, enterprise data, and open-source tech stacks
• Experience partnering with senior-level client stakeholders, providing technical thought leadership, and bringing innovation to achieve business needs
REQUIRED CLEARANCE
• Must have an Active Secret Clearance
