Software Architect Requirements: - 10+ years of Software Development experience
- Strong background in designing and configuring software applications.
- Proficient in developing and debugging embedded systems using C.
- Skilled in managing code artifacts and workflows through CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of network operations and ability to diagnose telemetry data.
- Proficiency in key protocols and technologies, including: IDP, UDP, TCP, DOCSIS, Telemetry
- Experience developing tools to extract telemetry from protocol stacks for team communication and analysis.
- Background in telecommunications systems and architecture.
Nice-to-Have Skills: - Understanding of latency and jitter logs.
- Familiarity with DOCSIS and low-latency DOCSIS.
- Experience measuring and improving network performance, particularly around TCP-based latency.
Software Architect Responsibilities: - Translate user requirements into designs for new software solutions or major software revisions.
- Develop high-level architectural specifications to ensure feasibility, functionality, and seamless integration with existing systems and platforms.
- Provide expertise on cross-application implications and architectural alignment.
- Approve business requirements, estimation, functional specifications, and testing strategies to ensure alignment with architectural standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement opportunities for improving system architecture.
- Work on multiple high-priority projects critical to future business success.
