Software Architect (onsite, Greenwood Village, CO)
The Select Group seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to play a key role in driving our clients emerging technologies aimed at enhancing network performance and reducing latency for their customers. In this role, you will be at the forefront of technological advancements, strategic partnerships, and infrastructure investments, helping to shape the future of their network architecture. Your expertise in embedded C programming, CI/CD pipelines, and network protocols (such as TCP, UDP, and DOCSIS) will be instrumental in developing innovative tools that enhance network efficiency and reliability. Software Architect Requirements:
  • 10+ years of Software Development experience
  • Strong background in designing and configuring software applications.
  • Proficient in developing and debugging embedded systems using C.
  • Skilled in managing code artifacts and workflows through CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of network operations and ability to diagnose telemetry data.
  • Proficiency in key protocols and technologies, including: IDP, UDP, TCP, DOCSIS, Telemetry
  • Experience developing tools to extract telemetry from protocol stacks for team communication and analysis.
  • Background in telecommunications systems and architecture.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Understanding of latency and jitter logs.
  • Familiarity with DOCSIS and low-latency DOCSIS.
  • Experience measuring and improving network performance, particularly around TCP-based latency.
Software Architect Responsibilities:
  • Translate user requirements into designs for new software solutions or major software revisions.
  • Develop high-level architectural specifications to ensure feasibility, functionality, and seamless integration with existing systems and platforms.
  • Provide expertise on cross-application implications and architectural alignment.
  • Approve business requirements, estimation, functional specifications, and testing strategies to ensure alignment with architectural standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement opportunities for improving system architecture.
  • Work on multiple high-priority projects critical to future business success.
