Work closely with application developers to enable feature development and improve usability. Work with process engineers to enable adoption of SIM (image processing software). Gathering requirements and specs for SIM development. Work with SIM developers to enable development work and deploy it in the field. Work with computational process teams to enable deployment of other computational software. Develop quick solutions using available analytical platforms to cater to the needs of internal customers. 40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. $206,315 $289,000/yr. The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside in California and most states. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Material Science, Material Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field, plus 6 years of engineering experience. Alternatively, will accept a PhD degree or foreign equivalent in Material Science, Material Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field, plus 3 years of experience. Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in the following: 3D Profile simulations for plasma surface interaction, 3D Visualization, Raytracing and Sparce Geometry Modeling. Must have 3 years of experience in the following: computer vision and cross-sectional SEM and TEM image analysis through machine learning algorithms.
