About the Job The Software Applications Test Engineer will support the C2BMC program and will be responsible for participating in software design and peer reviews, developing test specifications and infrastructure, executing manual and automated testing, and performing analysis of C2BMC implementation in an integrated environment. Location Colorado Springs, CO Occasional Travel between Colorado Springs facilities (LM Federal Drive facility to Schriever SFB) and between Colorado Springs and Huntsville, AL is expected. The Work You'll Do As member of the Regional Applications Agile Release Train (ART) of the Missile Defense National Team for Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) (aka C2BMC NT), this position will participate in software design and peer reviews, develop test specifications and infrastructure, execute manual and automated test and perform analysis of C2BMC implementation in an integrated environment or to test specific capabilities for interfaces or infrastructure in support of operations (e.g., Internal Messaging, control and monitoring, message and display recording and playback, failover processing). What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree with 7 years' experience, master's degree with 5 years' experience, or equivalent Active Secret clearance required to start IAT Level 2 Certification (Security+ or equivalent). Preferred at start, but candidates will be considered if they can get Sec+ within 60 days. The ideal candidate will possess Knowledge and experience in testing and evaluation of a software-intensive system in a variety of test environments/venues, utilizing Agile development. This position will require a strong, self-starting individual capable of diving into problems with assistance from other test engineers and software developers. Prior experience in an Agile development process Prior experience testing and verifying requirements in software applications/systems Conducting post-processing and analysis of collected data Development of action plans based upon analysis of data Documenting software deficiency reports Presenting analysis results and plans of action orally and/or in written format (e.g., slides, annotated slides, test report document).
