SUMMARY OF JOB:
Assists in meeting the psychosocial needs of patients/families and enables patients to utilize health care in order to achieve their optimal level of health.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's degree from an accredited school of social work.
- Current NJ license required
- 1-2 years Post graduate degree, experience n a health care setting, (hospital/home care preferred).
- Flexible, sound judgment, customer oriented, organized, keeps professional demeanor at all times.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Available to work flexible hours, with weekends and holidays included.
- Knowledge of general disease process.
- Knowledge of family dynamics and interpersonal relationships.
- Member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers, signifying two years of practice under qualified supervision preferred.
- Able to travel to patient's home within service area.
- Able to use office equipment; i.e. beeper, car phone.
- Valid driver's license.
