Your Impact
As a Foster Care Social Worker, you'll manage cases and oversee the well-being of children placed in our foster homes throughout the greater Sacramento area. Your expertise and compassion will directly influence the lives of vulnerable children and support foster families in providing loving homes.
What You'll Do
- Provide case management for foster children
- Conduct home visits and assessments
- Ensure compliance with Title 22 and ILS regulations
- Participate in monthly all-staff meetings and quarterly Social Worker meetings
- Contribute to a supportive team environment
What You Bring
- Master's degree in social work or related field (or Bachelor's with 3+ years of child welfare experience)
- Knowledge of foster care regulations and best practices
- Strong documentation and computer skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
Work Environment
- Prepared to work independently with flexible hours that may include evenings, weekend and holidays and will also include an on call rotation.
