Justin Gaffrey Gallery is seeking a full-time Social Media & Content Marketing Specialist to join our creative team. We're looking for someone who thrives in a visually-driven environment and is passionate about telling stories through dynamic content. If you're a self-starter with a strong creative eye, a love for visual arts, and expertise across social media platforms, this is your opportunity to grow with an established 30a artist and ever-evolving brand.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the artist and gallery team to tell authentic stories that highlight creative philosophy, new works, exhibitions, and collector moments
- Capture and edit, high-quality photos of artwork for website, installations, studio moments, and gallery events for use on social and the website.
- Film and produce engaging videos and reels-from behind-the-scenes process shots to polished campaign content
- Management of content and assets for the website & social media
- Develop and execute a social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) that reflects the gallery's unique artistic voice
- Collaborate on email marketing, printed materials, and other brand storytelling efforts as needed
Qualifications
- Experience or relevant degree in social media marketing, content creation, or a related role (experience in the art, design, or creative industries is a plus)
- Strong photography and video production/editing skills
- Deep understanding of social media best practices and platform trends
- Strong writing and visual storytelling abilities
- Organized, flexible, and able to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities
- Comfortable working in a creative, non-corporate environment with a collaborative team
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other design tools
