- 3+ Month Contract
- 1 day a week onsite in the Greater Milwaukee Area
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, schedule, and manage engaging content across multiple social media platforms
- Capture photos and video content on-site at events or facilities (equipment must be self-provided)
- Monitor social media channels and respond to community interactions in a timely, professional manner
- Support community engagement initiatives and event coverage
- Collaborate with internal teams to align content with broader communications strategies
- Assist with analyzing performance data and generating social media reports
- Participate in an on-call rotation to monitor activity and respond to issues as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in social media management or digital content creation
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, digital media, or a related field (preferred but not required)
- Strong familiarity with social media platforms and tools for content scheduling and analytics (e.g., Sprout)
- Experience with basic video editing (e.g., CapCut)
- Familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva or similar software
- Experience in community management is a plus
- Must have access to personal equipment for content capture (smartphone or video camera)
Additional Details:
- Location: Remote, but candidates must be local to Milwaukee for weekly on-site assignments
- Schedule: Includes weekend rotation based on events
- On-Call: As needed, in coordination with manager (rotating basis)
- Holidays: No regular holiday work expected
