ESC's premier healthcare client is seeking a Social Media Specialist to join their organization. This role will work hybrid in Milwaukee, WI. The role works 40 hours Monday-Friday, with some events falling on weekends. This is mostly a remote position but will have to report onsite roughly 1 time per week onsite. The onsite location changes as it could be at an event, or different hospital facilities. All on site visits will be in Milwaukee area.
We are looking for a creative and driven Social Media Specialist to elevate our client's online presence and engage their various audiences across multiple platforms. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of the social media strategy, working to enhance access, awareness and engagement with our client's brand.
Major Responsibilities:
- Strategic Content Creation: Develop and execute compelling content aligned with the company's social media strategy. This includes crafting engaging posts, designing eye-catching graphics and producing videos tailored for platforms like Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Brand Messaging: Maintain a consistent and authentic brand voice across all social media channels. Write and edit content that resonates with our audience while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Engagement and Community Management: Monitor social media channels, respond to audience interactions, and foster a positive online community. Address inquiries and comments in a timely and professional manner.
- Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the communications and marketing teams to brainstorm and execute innovative campaigns and initiatives that enhance our digital footprint.
- Quality Control: Proofread and edit all social media content to ensure accuracy and alignment with our brand's standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in social media and external communications and marketing strategy.
- Experience in different social media platforms as related to content management, example would be SPROUT, video editing (CAPCUT).
- Experience in Canva or any graphic creation program or design
- Community managing experience
- Uses own tools for content capture such as phone, or video camera
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in designing graphics and videos for various social media platforms.
- Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics.
