Title: Marketing Specialist - Social Media Community Manager

Location: Charlotte, NC / Detroit, MI / Lewisville, TX / Jacksonville, FL

Note: This is a W2 contract role - C2C and 3 rd party candidates will NOT be considered

We are seeking a Brand Engagement Specialist to support day-to-day proactive, reactive engagement, and surprise & delight efforts on all brand social platforms. The ideal candidate should be extremely detail oriented with a passion for social media.

Position Qualifications:

  • 1+ year(s) of experience in community management or a related field, with a track record of successfully building and engaging online communities
  • A passion for social media, with high proficiency across all social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Threads, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Proficiency in social media community management, monitoring, and management tools, with a keen understanding of social media trends and best practices; experience with Sprinklr preferred
  • Ability to identify moments on social media to create meaningful, personalized experiences that exceed expectations and build brand loyalty; experience monitoring social media platforms to stay abreast on social trends
  • Experience with Surprise and Delight marketing
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical skills to measure and optimize engagement strategies (reactive/proactive)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences and platforms
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and finding solutions with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to work independently with a quick turnaround
  • Ability to build and maintain brand's online communities by initiating meaningful interactions and fostering brand love preferred
  • Ability to promptly and proactively insert the brand in trending moments, and brand banter through engagement preferred
  • Ability to pay attention to detail in all aspects of community management, ensuring accuracy and consistency in messaging and interactions preferred
  • Skilled in tasks prioritization and an understanding of when to escalate issues and when to address them independently to maintain community satisfaction preferred
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field preferred
