Position Overview:
We're looking for a Social Media Manager who's both creatively driven and strategically sharp-someone who knows how to turn "likes" into lasting brand love. From content creation and copywriting to paid campaigns and performance analysis, this role is the perfect opportunity for a social pro to bring ideas to life and drive real results.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies and campaigns across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Lead content creation efforts, including concepting, copywriting, and collaborating on photography and videography for social-first content that stops the scroll (viral reels, anyone )
- Manage content calendars and scheduling tools
- Engage with followers and foster positive brand interactions on behalf of clients
- Write compelling, on-brand copy tailored to different platforms and audiences
- Launch, manage, and optimize paid social media campaigns with an understanding of KPIs
- Apply strategic targeting techniques to reach defined audiences and maximize impact
- Stay ahead of platform changes, new features, and algorithm updates to inform strategy.
- Analyze performance metrics and develop clear, insightful reports
- Contribute to client presentations by showcasing campaign performance and creative wins
- Collaborate with account and creative teams to ensure campaigns are cohesive and compelling
- Act as a proactive idea generator, bringing fresh, bold concepts to the table in brainstorms and strategy sessions
- Manage influencer collaborations and partnerships
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, ideally in an agency environment
- Proven ability to create and manage paid and organic campaigns across multiple social platforms
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with a knack for tailoring messages to different audiences
- Familiarity with tools like Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Canva, Metricool (or similar), etc.
- Experience in reputation management and responding to positive and negative reviews on behalf of clients
- Basic design and video editing skills
- Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple client social pages at once
- A "yes" mindset-someone who is curious, collaborative, and eager to bring ideas to life
- Comfortable with monthly on-site client visits (with light travel) to capture content and help our brand show up authentically
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with brands in the automotive industry (or an interest in cars)
- Understanding of Google Analytics and performance dashboards
- A portfolio with examples of previous social content, campaigns, and metrics
