Purpose of job The Social Media Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance BCLP's brand visibility, connecting with the target audiences and driving engagement and business growth.
Key responsibilities- Collaborate, develop and implement comprehensive, fully integrated firm-wide social media strategies to meet the firm's objectives.
- Create and schedule a calendar of compelling and visually impactful, targeted content to engage with the firm's online community.
- Monitor Search Engine Optimization (SEO) developments and share insights with relevant teams to maximize exposure of content on online platforms.
- Manage the firm's social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Optimise organic and paid campaigns to maximise exposure.
- Act as a visual content producer utilizing infographics, images, photography, video, etc.
- Support on copywriting and proofreading as required for website pages, and digital marketing materials.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to provide live 'on-the-ground' social media content posts when required.
- Be a brand guardian, ensuring brand guidelines, correct terminology, and tone of voice are adhered to in all written materials and communications.
- Establish and maintain clear processes and documentation to ensure smooth and effective collaboration across internal teams and external agencies.
- When necessary, respond in a timely manner to the firm's online community in relation to enquiries, comments and posts and monitor and manage online reviews of the firm on reputation management platforms.
- Support in the provision of training and education across the firm on the use of social media
- Undertake analysis of social media metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness, identify trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor social media developments to stay up-to-date on best practices and recommend new and creative strategies.
- Develop strong and lasting relationships with key stakeholders across the firm.
Experience and knowledge- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Proven work experience in social media and track record of increasing followers for social media channels
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and best practices and a desire to keep up-to-date on new developments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging content
- Proficient in social media analytics and reporting tools to monitor and evaluate campaign performance
- Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and generate innovative ideas
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing
- Experience in managing social media advertising campaigns is a plus
- Familiarity with graphic design tools and basic photo/video editing skills is desirable
