JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities Under the direction of the Social Media Manager, this position is responsible for leading all social media and digital marketing efforts such as, but not limited to, content creation, research, strategy, customer service, on property digital signage and paid advertising. Work alongside the Marketing & Sales, Public Relations and Advertising teams. The social media and digital marketing specialist coordinates tactics for appealing to guests, traditional and new media groups and community relations movers and shakers.

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Responsible for building, curating content and maintaining all social media platforms, including but not limited to company Facebook, X (formerly known as Twitter), YouTube, Instagram, TikTok as well as, new/emerging platforms.
  • Lead efforts of the planning, development and implementation of social media strategies, editorial calendars, and tactical plans, ensuring that all social media messages, measurements and content are relevant to target audience.
  • Responsible for community engagement and involvement via social media and in person for events, promotions, celebrity appearances and other content creation opportunities as needed.
  • Establish and grow relationships with key influencers in digital space, such as bloggers, high profile followed personalities, entertainers, etc.
  • Create effective copy and creative campaigns for earned media exposure.
  • Develop, execute and leverage social media and digital efforts to grow market share and expand brand awareness.
  • Create social media and digital campaign strategy including program outlines and provide recommendations.
  • Understand current trends, technologies and advancements in social, digital and online spaces.
  • Oversee production and implementation of digital and social campaigns.
  • On an ongoing basis, measure and report performance of all marketing activities, and assets against goals, identify trends and insights, and optimize plan based on these insights.
  • Work closely with internal departments to resolve customer service issues in digital spaces.
  • Monitor online sentiment on both social platforms and third- party sites.
  • Engage and align partnerships with paid and non-paid social media efforts and campaigns.
  • Serve as the liaison between Vendors, Sponsors, Corporate and Internal teams to amplify messaging across social media and digital spaces.
Qualifications
  • Proficient knowledge of Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom and other Adobe programs, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Power Point.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, public relations or equivalent experience preferred.
  • At least 3 years' experience with social media, marketing, advertising and/or brand marketing.
  • Must provide portfolio of current photography and videography work
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly known as Twitter), YouTube and emerging social media platforms; experience with advertising campaigns preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to the Hard Rock brand voice; Compelling. Energetic. Confident. Approachable.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal formats.
  • Ability to assist in the planning, development, and implementation of projects/programs.
  • Work well under pressure of deadlines.
  • Have the ability to exercise a great deal of initiative, forward strategic thinking and independent judgment.
  • Technology savvy with solid understanding of the web, online marketing, direct marketing and best e-mail practices.
  • Experience preferred in brand management, development and implementation.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
  • Ability to read and understand all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to complete standard Seminole Tribe of Florida forms and reports.
  • Must be able to speak to the general public and/or groups of individuals.
  • Bilingual - Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.
Work Environment:
  • Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional office setting, as well as on the Casino Floor, Event Center and off property activations. On the Casino floor, it is a fast-paced, guest-smoking environment, with constant exposure to general public and excessive noise.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
