Position Overview:
The Social Media Coordinator will manage and grow our social media presence across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and our text platform, for both Dental Nachos and Dentist Job Connect. The role involves content creation, community engagement, and coordination with marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
- Implement social media strategies to increase engagement and following.
- Schedule and post content and livestreams across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
- Manage and moderate Facebook groups, fostering community engagement.
- Grow our social media following by engaging with clients and connecting the sales team with potential leads.
- Build and maintain relationships with followers, influencers, and partners.
- Manage and update the social media calendar in alignment with marketing campaigns
- Track social media analytics and report on engagement metrics.
Content Creation:
- Produce and edit short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Create visual assets using tools like Canva for social media
- Create interactive posts, such as polls and questions, to drive engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing coordinator to ensure content alignment.
- Organize and catalog media assets and photos.
Text Platform Management:
- Create and update automated keyword responses for text engagement.
- Monitor incoming messages, responding promptly to inquiries or comments.
- Engage with members on the text platform to foster community interaction.
- Track leads generated through the platform and share with relevant teams.
- Maintain the text messaging calendar and ensure consistent outreach.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field.
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Hubspot).
- Strong video editing skills for short-form content.
- Excellent communication and community management skills.
- Ability to analyze metrics and adapt strategies accordingly.
