Job Description:

As a Social Media Coordinator, you will work closely with our Southern 441 Toyota team to create engaging content and manage our dealership's presence across various social media platforms. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to effectively engage our target audience on TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, and Facebook by creating compelling content and enhance our brand presence on those platforms. You will have the opportunity to contribute creative ideas, gain hands-on experience, and learn about digital marketing strategies within the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing and implementing social media content calendars aligned with dealership goals and promotions.
  • Create and curate high-quality, visually appealing content for social media platforms, including TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across social media channels in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to optimize social media strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative campaigns, contests, and promotions to increase engagement and drive traffic to dealership websites.
  • Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze key performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates, and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of social media efforts.
  • Stay up to date with social media best practices, emerging platforms, and algorithm changes, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • Strong passion for social media marketing and digital content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms and scheduling tools (e.g., Facebook Business Manager, Instagram Insights, Hootsuite).
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design principles and photo/video editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Enthusiasm for the automotive industry and willingness to learn about dealership operations and products.
