In-N-Out Burger has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Social Media Coordinator based in our Irvine, CA location. This position reports to the Social Media & Digital Manager and is primarily responsible for assisting departments in the development, coordination, and execution of various social media content and marketing strategies and materials.

This position is full-time, in-office only.

General Responsibilities
  • Maintain an organized content calendar for daily execution, ensuring posts are timely, aligned with campaigns, product releases, and seasonal initiatives
  • Develop, curate, and schedule engaging social media content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter) that aligns with the brand's voice, goals, and marketing initiatives
  • Assist in tracking and analyzing performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Meta Insights, providing reports and basic recommendations for improving content effectiveness
  • Execute and coordinate recurring paid social media campaigns (e.g., HR hiring ads) and approved organic content, ensuring they meet deadlines and adhere to brand standards
  • Monitor social media activity, engage with followers, and address comments or inquiries to maintain the brand's reputation, including supporting Customer Service during critical or high-priority moments
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Creative, Customer Service, Legal) to ensure messaging consistency and compliance with brand and legal guidelines across all channels
  • Organize and execute promotions for events, ticket sales, and merchandise, ensuring content aligns with campaign goals and providing reports on outcomes.

  • Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
  • Department needs may call for occasional overtime

  • Pay Range is $30.00-$35.00 per hour
    The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years' experience in digital marketing and social media management; required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Marketing, Business Communication or related field; courses should have an emphasis on Marketing, Digital, e-commerce, etc.
  • Social Media Marketing or Digital Marketing certifications (i.e. Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Meta Tools); desirable
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics and social monitoring tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Asana
  • Advanced knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
  • Proven track record of managing social media accounts and executing campaigns
  • Experience with content creation, copywriting, and visual storytelling
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently to deliver quality work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate professionally with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and be an integral part of an overall team environment
  • Must be self-motivated, an ongoing learner and committed to staying current on ever changing social technology platforms and trends
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • For Store associates:
    • Minimum one (1) year tenure with In-N-Out Burger
    • Minimum Level 3
    • No Final Warnings in the last six (6) months and must be in good standing with Management

Work Location Details

In-N-Out Burger plans to bring its west coast headquarters team back together under one roof by the end of 2029. After maintaining two Southern California office locations for many years, the company will permanently close its Irvine office in 2029 and once again headquarter the company's western territory solely in Baldwin Park, California, where the company was founded in 1948.

Newly hired Associates in Irvine will be eligible to participate in the group move to Tennessee with relocation assistance or work from our western headquarters in Baldwin Park, CA, upon its opening in 2029.
