As our nationwide growth accelerates, our
Communications department in
Mechanicsburg, PA plays a key role in driving forward our mission of Bringing Happiness to Every Home by maintaining brand presence and reputation of West Shore Home on Social Media Channels.
As a Social Media Specialist at West Shore Home, you will be the voice of the brand. This role is laser-focused on providing an amazing experience across the social media landscape by creating and optimizing relatable content, and interacting with potential customers across platforms.
What You'll Contribute In this role, you can expect to:

- Leverage and Implement SMM tools (Social Studio, Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.) to monitor brand reputation and respond to direct messages, reviews, recommendations and comments.
- Support and enhance public relations initiatives, community outreach events, and recruiting campaigns through strategic social media activity.
- Collaborate with the Inside Sales Department to schedule sales appointments through individual interactions with potential customers across social media channels.
- Works closely with Digital Marketing to develop & implement new post strategy
- Consult and collaborate routinely with Marketing & Communications leadership to develop and implement strategies to increase audience engagement across all social media platforms, including growing followers, likes, and impressions.
- Uses SM channels to amplify PR initiatives, community outreach events, and recruiting efforts
What It Takes to Succeed At West Shore Home, we are Default Aggressive towards our goals and take Extreme Ownership of our results.
We'll provide you with the training and tools to set you up for success, and we hope that you'll bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Four-year degree preferred (Marketing or Communications preferred).
- Ability to showcase a portfolio of past professional social media work.
- 3+ years' experience managing social media pages professionally preferred.
- Ability to operate a variety of cameras and audio equipment preferred.
- Proficiency working in the Adobe Creative Suite, most specifically with Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop preferred.
