Role Overview
We're hiring two dynamic and creative Social Media Content Creators-one male and one female-to become the vibrant faces of KIN Apparel on TikTok and Instagram. This is a hybrid role for DMV-based creators who are passionate about pop culture, haircare, and community building through digital storytelling.
You'll lead the charge in crafting compelling videos, hopping on the latest trends, and going live regularly to sell products and connect with our audience in real-time.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce, shoot, and edit short-form video content (Reels & TikToks) using trending sounds, viral challenges, and culturally relevant themes aligned with KIN's brand identity.
- Go live on TikTok a minimum of 3 times per week (2+ hours each) to sell products, tell our story, and engage with our growing community.
- Stay on top of platform trends and pop culture moments, using them to create relevant and timely content with KIN products.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team on content calendars, campaign themes, and creative direction.
- Actively engage with our audience-reply to comments, stitch/react to user content, and build community.
- Use Canva templates and other design tools to create cohesive, on-brand visuals for Instagram.
- Track analytics and performance metrics weekly to refine strategies and inform future content.
- Assist in influencer collaborations and brand partnerships as needed.
What We're Looking For
- A DMV-based creator who can work in a hybrid setup (virtual and in-person content days).
- Strong on-camera presence with a passion for haircare, fashion, and inclusive beauty.
- Experience creating content for TikTok and Instagram (bonus if you've managed brand accounts).
- Creative, self-starting, and confident with video editing, storytelling, and viral culture.
- Skilled in tools like Canva, CapCut, InShot, FinalCutPro, iMovie, or Adobe Premiere.
- Experience in the fashion, beauty, or lifestyle space is a plus.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and excited to help grow a purpose-driven brand.
