Major Job Function
  • Social Media Management:
    1. Under the supervision of the Public Information Officer, update multiple Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts with engaging content.
    2. Post event reminders, market updates, and community highlights.
    3. Create engaging posts, including photos, captions, and short videos.
  • Event Photography & Promotion:
    1. Attend and take high-quality photos of local events, vendors, and market activities.
    2. Maintain a database of photos and media promotions.
    3. Edit and upload photos to social media in a timely manner.
    4. Assist in promoting upcoming events by sharing visual content and engaging posts.
  • Farmers' Market Assistance:
    1. Help set up and manage the Farmers' Market during operating hours.
    2. Provide support to vendors and answer visitor questions.
    3. Ensure a welcoming and organized market environment.
    4. Manage vendor enrollment and record vendor attendance.
Minimum Requirements for Position

Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience with Facebook group management or social media marketing.
  • Photography skills with the ability to capture high-quality images.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Outgoing and friendly personality with great customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Basic knowledge of the local community.
Supplemental Information

Expected Hours of Work
Work hours will be flexible based on participation in events. The hours will be 20 hours a week up to 575.00 hours.
This position is not eligible for benefits.
