Our client is seeking a Social Manager who will serve as the liaison between the brand and its consumers, creating a seamless digital presence through multi-channel experiences and communications. The ideal candidates will be proactive problem solvers, able to adapt quickly to various situations, and have a knack for starting and participating in culture-driven conversations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curate content for global channels such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, and more
- Oversee regional channels, ensuring adherence to global guidelines and supporting local Community Manager execution
- Monitor online conversations, participate in them to build brand visibility, and identify relevant discussions outside of brand properties
- Assist with social media queries creatively and proactively, serving as the direct answer or the connector to the answer
- Collaborate with online customer support for customer service specific inquiries and respond to such inquiries in off-hour situations
- Identify and analyze issues, patterns, and trends in consumer conversation
- Establish metrics, generate reports, and provide recommendations on a regular basis
- Identify and establish partnerships with relevant influencers, user-generated content, and partners
- Stay up-to-date on new social media tools, best practices, and best-in-class work
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Social Manager and in the social media space
- Experience with social media monitoring and analysis, including using relevant tools such as Sysomos, Brandwatch, Social Bakers, and more
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools such as Dash Hudson, Hootsuite, Spredfast, and Tailwind
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts in written short-form, written long-form, and presentations
- Proven abilities in proactive problem solving and goal achievement through non-conventional methods
- Excellent copywriting skills (samples may be requested)
This position requires in-office presence three days a week at our client's location. Candidates must complete a background check and drug screen upon offer. This is a six-month role with potential for extension.
