Position Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and charismatic professional to lead our social club events. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who loves event planning and excels in bringing people together. As the Event Manager, you will curate and oversee various engaging events tailored to our members' interests, ensuring each one is remarkable and smoothly executed. If you are passionate about outdoor activities, socializing, and making new friends, you will thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Planning and Execution: Design, coordinate, and manage over 40 exciting events monthly, from local outings to adrenaline-fueled ski trips and weekend adventures.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Inspire and lead a team of event staff and volunteers, fostering collaboration to deliver outstanding member experiences.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Create and implement innovative marketing strategies across social media and our website to boost engagement and event attendance.
  • Community and Partnership Development: Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, venues, and restaurants for unique event opportunities.
  • Member Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for club members, addressing inquiries and enhancing their overall experience.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and track expenses efficiently to meet financial objectives using tools like Google Drive.
Qualifications:
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Event Management Expertise: Demonstrated experience in planning and executing various events.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage and motivate members and staff.
  • Creativity and Innovation: A creative thinker capable of developing unique event concepts that resonate with our members.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using social media platforms and Google Drive.
  • Flexibility: Open to working evenings, weekends, and some holidays as required.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and lead various physical activities.
  • Other Requirements: Must be 21 years or older, possess a valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle, and pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Active engagement in social media and a strong understanding of current trends.
  • Complete home office setup.

Benefits Package:
  • Starting Salary: $69,000 per year
  • 1 week PTO & 1 week Sick time during year 1 - Increasing PTO over time
