Role Profile
We are seeking a talented and experienced Snowflake Solution Architect Consultant to join our consulting team. As a Snowflake Architect Consultant, you will collaborate with clients to understand their data requirements, design optimized Snowflake solutions, and provide expert guidance throughout the implementation process. Your deep understanding of Snowflake, coupled with your strong analytical and communication skills, will play a crucial role in helping clients unlock the full potential of their data.
Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with clients to gather and assess their data needs, and translate them into effective Snowflake solutions.
- Design end-to-end data architectures tailored to clients' specific business objectives, encompassing data modeling, warehousing, ETL processes, and security measures.
- Collaborate with client teams to ensure seamless integration of data from various sources into Snowflake, addressing data quality and consistency challenges.
- Develop and implement efficient ETL processes, optimizing data pipelines for performance and reliability within the Snowflake environment.
- Configure and fine-tune Snowflake features such as virtual warehouses, resource monitors, and data sharing, aligning them with clients' performance requirements.
- Provide expertise in data governance, recommending strategies for maintaining data lineage, metadata, and ensuring compliance with data regulations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to Snowflake implementation, working closely with client teams to identify and resolve challenges.
- Create comprehensive documentation including architecture diagrams, data flowcharts, and best practices guidelines for clients to maintain and expand their Snowflake environments.
- Stay current with the latest developments in Snowflake, data technologies, and industry trends to offer innovative solutions to clients.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical client stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven track record as a Snowflake Architect or Consultant, delivering successful Snowflake solutions for diverse clients.
- Strong expertise in data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages for automation.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake's features including SnowSQL, SnowPipe, and Snowflake security mechanisms.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud, and their integration with Snowflake.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a knack for diagnosing and resolving complex data issues.
- Outstanding communication skills to foster strong client relationships and convey technical information effectively.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Relevant certifications in Snowflake, cloud platforms, or data architecture.
- Experience with real-time data processing, data streaming technologies, and data lakes.
- Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and data privacy regulations.
- Experience in other cloud solutions(Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Experience in Databricks, AI, ML and other analytical tools
- Ability to create and deliver best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, sample code, and technical presentations to different levels of key business and technical stakeholders
