Job Description: - Client is seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Developer with expertise in Big Data, Python, Spark, and ETL to join our dynamic team in Irving, TX.
- This role requires a strong background in data engineering, cloud-based data solutions, and performance optimization within the Snowflake ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake data warehouses to support business intelligence and analytics.
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Python, Spark, and other Big Data technologies.
- Implement data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes from multiple sources into Snowflake.
- Optimize Snowflake performance, including query tuning, indexing, and clustering.
- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to define and implement data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with best practices and industry standards.
- Automate and monitor workflows for efficient data processing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in Snowflake development and data engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture, features, and performance tuning.
- Expertise in Big Data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, and distributed computing frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools and frameworks.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data engineering.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Snowflake data sharing, Snowpark, and UDFs.
