Job Title: Snow Removal Laborer
Job Summary: The Snow Removal Laborer is responsible for clearing snow and ice from various surfaces, such as sidewalks, parking lots, driveways, and roads, ensuring the safety of pedestrians and vehicles during winter weather. The position requires working in cold, potentially hazardous conditions while operating snow removal equipment or using hand tools.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate snow removal equipment such as snowplows, skid steers, snow blowers, or salt spreaders.
- Manually shovel snow and ice from walkways, entrances, and other designated areas.
- Apply de-icing materials to surfaces to prevent the buildup of ice.
- Monitor weather conditions and proactively address snow removal needs based on weather forecasts.
- Ensure that all equipment is in proper working order and report any issues or malfunctions.
- Follow safety protocols to minimize the risk of accidents or injury.
- Maintain cleanliness of the worksite and dispose of snow and ice as directed.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials such as salt or sand.
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete snow removal tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Respond to emergency snow removal requests as needed.
Skills & Qualifications:- Ability to operate snow removal equipment or use manual tools effectively.
- Physical stamina and strength to work in cold and challenging conditions for extended periods.

- Attention to detail and ability to work safely around traffic and other hazards.
- Ability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on weather conditions.
