SME Software Architect / Developer Lead (SME - SADL) Location: HQ - Fairfax, VA Hybrid Remote - 3 days onsite per week

Certifications: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Scrum Alliance Nationwide IT Services seeks an experienced Subject Matter Expert in Software Architecture and Development (SME-SADL) to lead our Delivery Team. Our SME-SADL shall engage in highly complex systems and software architecture, design, and development, in support of advanced capabilities for our DoD clients. This is a dynamic role in a fast-paced environment. They will meet with customers, inclusive of client leadership to ensure a full understanding of client needs and requirements. They will collaborate with senior leadership, other solution architects, and technical resources from across the delivery team to develop and deliver innovative solutions for our clients.
Coordinate with solution architects and consultants to drive progress on active requirements. Ensure work is aligned and executed with customer requirements. Establish and maintain positive relationships with key decision-makers. Collaborate with multiple teams within the organization and the delivery team to create successful strategies. Provide input on technical, management, pricing, and partnering. Communicate and interface with senior leadership, mentor junior staff and peers on technical delivery issues and processes. Required Skills & Experience A minimum of twelve years of (SME/Senior level) DoD Software Architecture and development experience, to include experience architecting, developing, deploying, and maintaining high-availability, mission-critical, and multi-service (USA, USN, USAF, USMC, USCG) systems and capabilities. Possess a current PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or Scrum Alliance (Scrum, Coach, or Agile Leadership) certification. Possess a minimum of an active DoD Secret security clearance at proposal submission. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple project areas efficiently. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Desired Education & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field, and DoD Casualty and Mortuary Affairs mission experience and expertise Years of Professional Experience: 12+ Years of highly technical experience supporting DoD customers in a leadership position.
