We're recruiting for a Smart Building Engineer to spearhead the integration of a next-generation platform bridging the gap between conventional BMS and smart building solutions. Using our clients solution to integrate various BMS/BAS platforms (Niagara, Schneider, JCI, etc.) with modern Smart Building Technologies.


Key Responsibilities

You'll partner with a Customer Success Manager to support the onboarding and growth of new enterprise clients. Your role focuses on accelerating platform adoption, ensuring a seamless transition from pilot to full-scale deployment across commercial building portfolios.

  • Deliver a best-in-class customer experience, acting as the technical voice of the customer.
  • Own post-sale account success, driving satisfaction, retention, and long-term value.
  • Support system integration and onboarding efforts, ensuring smooth deployment.
  • Develop success plans tailored to client goals, with regular progress tracking.
  • Build strong relationships across client teams, including facilities, sustainability, and engineering.
  • Train users and contractors to drive ongoing engagement and platform utilization.
  • Monitor building systems via the platform to identify inefficiencies and optimise HVAC operations.
  • Provide technical reporting on energy usage, environmental quality, and equipment performance.
  • Maintain regular client engagement, including site visits and strategic reviews.
  • Support channel partners with technical enablement, training, and success stories.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a technically skilled and client-focused engineer with a background in building systems and a passion for driving operational efficiency.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, BMS Engineering, or similar.
  • 2-5 years' experience in HVAC or building services.
  • Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and building operations.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a proactive, positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Willingness to travel for site visits across the US (valid driver's license required).

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Experience in energy analysis or optimisation.
  • Familiarity with building certification frameworks (e.g. LEED, GRESB, WELL).
  • Ability to support account growth through insights and value-driven conversations.
